I autox my 98 SVT about once a month. Recently my brake pedal has started getting mushy
after a couple hard stops. I am thinking about getting EBC Green Stuff front pads and stainless
steel brake lines. What do you all think about the EBC Green Stuff pads.

I got 'em and like 'em. I am thinking about getting the stainlees lines too. For $50 from SP, you can't beat that!

Where did you get your pads from? How much were they? Do I need to install new rotors as well?

When was the last time you changed your brake fluid? Or bled the brakes? IIRC, these things are more likely contributors to your mushy pedal problem. (I'm not saying don't get the EBC's. smile )

I have no experience with the Greenstuff pads, but I thought I would mention the stainless steel lines will knock you out of a stock category for SCCA autocross. Assuming someone looks. smile

Change your fluid, after you've boiled the fluid a few times the brakes get mushy. New fluid will solve that problem.

I've got the mintex 1144's.. It takes more to get the brakes to fade now. And well for cold stopping.. can anyone say 'whiplash' smile

I have the green stuff with the ebc groved rotors and I love them. You get brake dust for about the first 150 miles and then none
