I wanna, I wanna. *sigh* I don't want to cheat, but I want one bad. Especially with Terry Haines being on 30 miles from me...makes it that much worse.

I *suppose I could learn to drive better. But what fun would that be. So much easier to just cheat. No one would know.

I feel your pain. There are some good group buys going around and I'm getting the bug to mod the car up. I really want to keep it in GS for next year to see if we can be on top.
Must find money to buy another Contour, must find money, money. :p

We can upgrade a std diff with better mtl gears & coatings if you have to stick with a no-LSD setup.

Terry that upgrade.. uhh how much stronger do you figure?

As a stronger open-diff is wonderful, would of saved me some pain, there's nothing like having optimum traction.

I'm just waiting for Terry to send me my trans w/Quaife and I'll be on my merry ole way to total domination in my Solo 2 class.

As of cheating, I highly doubt that is, as the SVT's should've came with'em from the start anyways, actually Ford just short changed us. Thanks to Fords commitment in Europe, not short changing there cars, we get the Quaife even cheaper.

By the way, it just bugs my friends that I'm getting the Quaife that cheap when they need to spend over $1000 for one of there cars, I think they view it as if I'm stealin it or something, but hey aren't we getting it at a steal!!!!!! :p

Race STS ! Or cheat. As far as I am concerned the rules are asking you to do it. Ok really they prohibit it. But they also put cars with near the same HP lower weight and a LSD in your class. So I say do it!

So, you're thinking about cheating and then you post the thought on a public forum...

Here in SoCal a guy in a FS Mustang did just that a few years ago. His competitors got suspicious when he suddenly knocked two seconds off his best time from one event to the next. That night they went to the StangNet forum and found his post.

At the next event, they had made copies of his post and handed it to all his competitors in FS and dozens of other people. After about a dozen competitors made it a point to walk up to this cheater and hold the post up to his face he left and has never come back.

In any competition, your peers will do a very effective job policing the sport.

Pardon my lack of knowledge but what exactly does a Quaife do??? Does it like eliminate wheel hop or something??? Please do not flogg me for my lack of knowledge!!!
