Another alternative to Redline is Mobil 1 ATF.
It has a Mercon fluid designation. The synthectics will resist the heat, and probably make your rack last longer.

I experienced the same problem at Watkins Glen. I noticed some P/S fluid around the cap and on the resivoir. It was not hot outside at all, I figured that either heat from the right side brakes was causing the problem or simply the frequency of turning the wheel? Going to synthetic fluid sounds like my next move.

Mobil 1 ATF.
The high temps, high rpms and high pressure are boiling and/or foaming the normal fluid.

It's also probably pretty old and worn out too unless you have changed it recently. (It wears out faster then you may think)

While you are at it flush the brake fluid out and go to Valvoline SynPower. Your Auto-X times will thank you...
