Me curious. Did rrxpp? (Chris Ludwig) go? My bet is he would have won if he did. I want to see times vs. the Cobra R!!! Course design and size? Must have been small for 40 second times.

I placed 1st in my division! Oh wait that was by default becasue I was the only modified SE. My best was my second run with a 41.3. The Cobra R ran 38 something and he's never AutoX'd before. Another stock 96 SE ran a 38 but he has had lots o' practice I guess. Pretty impressive for a rental car I forgot to mention a SVT ran a 38 but he had coil overs and it was dropped to the ground. Yeah! With the time even heavily modified SVT ran, I don't know if I want an SVT anymore... I always thought that SVT will be a lot better than non-SVT's, but that AutoX proved otherwise. the autocross was great...I won the SVT Stock class with a 39.4.
I also rode with max in the Cobra R and he was inexperienced but I was surprised that he did as well as he did. What was cool about riding with him was that he left it in second the whole run...That will scoot in First gear.
The autoX was Fun...I do have pics I will see if I can get it loaded on my webpage or on photopoint..

speaking of pics of the autocross at SZ2001, i shot quite a few there(10 rolls), and i should have at least one shot of every entry. When i get the pics back from the processor(it's gonna cost quite a bit to get them all developed, gotta wait for the next paycheck), i'll post a link to some of them, and if they turned out well, i will be able to get 8x10's for people who want them. if you have questions, email me at randerson@voyager.net .

AK, I wouldn't sweat the SVT being slower, I think none of us knew how to drive for an autoX :D, I got 2nd in SVT-stock w/ a 40.1x and I know I sucked bad, I was really doing all I could to just find the course rather than try to pick the best line through it (that and I really do suck at it :D) I think max did great in his Cobra R, considering it was his first shot, and he was in a way overpowered car (at least for a tight autoX anyway) his best was a 38.1x and I got the run on in-car video (its on xchang's camera)
It's all about balance.

Dave L. in his 95' Midnight Red SE ran 38.019. I know because my best run was a 38.3 in my 95' Electric Red SE. When you place second you always remember who won and their time.
