I was wondering how did you and your Tour fare racing this year. I attend a couple of events a year and do ok. My friend with a 95 SE has taken second place overall in the Detroit region SCCA.

If your asking me? i did ok. I only ran 2 seconds of the impreza's. I was my first time and my car is stock. Their cars has some suspension mods and they have been to many events. My goal is to run even or better then them in a stock contour. i know it can be done.

They are letting a hopped up Imprezza compete in the same class as a stock Tour. Are you running G stock? Or are you running G street tire?

I was in G stock I think. the impreza was in STS or something like that.

I have run a couple of times, I compare my self in the G-stock and to all STS. first out I ran 2nd in G-stock not bad lost to a VW 1.8t great driver sts 4 second off the winner. I will run again Nov 22, in STS hopefully I can get within 2secs I have the KKM so I am moving to STS, all those susp mods etc its going to be tuff up there.

I'm stuck in ESP with my Y-Pipe, at least that's how I read "exhaust modification in front of the catalytic converter" that disqualifies me from STS.

Well, I've only done it twice, and I still have a long ways to go to be competitive, (and the ESP classification hurts me against other novices) but am getting better. Oh well, I still have a blast, and that's what matters.
