Littlefishie I don't think that matters! I PM'd him the info(see the post above) rather than post it(at that time) to give him a chance to make it right and preserve his standing in this community. He chose not to take that opportunity. From the looks of his last post he doesn't care! He may be the greatest guy in the world but right now from where I'm sitting he looks like a scammer!

first of all i don't appreciate being called a crook. i am not making more than $5 per set and if i would have known about this place before i did i would probably not have even started this GB. but i do know that i am picking up 10 sets tomorrow morning and i will ship them out to all who has paid and then i am done doing this, b/c for one it is too much work to hunt people down for money and two, if people are going to be calling me a crook, then maybe i don't want to try and help anyone out on this site anymore. i am sorry i even started this GB. i hope everyone enjoys their lights when they get them....i know i am.....later

What are you saying? That you are going to pick up the lights, make your $5 knowing full well you can get them somewhere cheaper? WTF?

Is there some problem with getting them from the other vendor?

My participation in a group buy is with the assumption that the whole point of a group buy to get better pricing.

Do not ship me the lights.

Send my money back now.

Ben I think you should give a refund or give at least 30 dollars back when you all receive your lights. Usually the person that brings the retailer the business gets theirs free. I'm not saying this is true in this case just a possibility. But either way someone made more money than they should have. I luckily didn't have to pay the price some of these guys did but i think if any of them care about the money they earn you are going to be hearing some **** for a while. Just a thought from a fellow ceg'er.

Hello Ben,

RT was upset because he was one of the first to respond and support your group_buy. RT has been helpful to everyone on this site. When he stood up and defended your character, he put his own name in the plate. He probably felt guilty and personally responsible for anyone who sent you money after JM aired his warnings.

Contour is a great car; CEG is a great place. This group_buy is making itself a legacy of the CEG world. Hope right things could be done.

Ben I was on your side. Hell I even tried to help! But what JM was saying and I found out was these could be had for alot less and not just from one source but three! So you tell us how we should be looking at it. Running a group buy is like being a pony at a birthday party. People are going to be on you all the time. Your dis-interest in the fact that someone said that these lights could be had for less (alot less) makes you look bad. If your insulted by some of the comments I made I'm sorry but maybe you need to read the whole thread again and tell me how I'm miss something. Until you pay for the lights you still have or had a chance to fix this. I don't care if you make $5. A small service fee is OK with me but right now it looks like someone made off with $400 from people who trusted you and share your love of a car!

you think i am making $400? shiiiiiit i wish. sorry to everyone who participated in this. i didn't know they could be had for less and from my distruibtor they told me today that that price of 60 a set is super cheap. she couldn't believe that they were being sold that cheap anywhere.

i cannot return any money, b/c it has already been sent in and the truck was supposed to have them on it today and someone at the warehouse screwed up so they will be on it tom. so i will send everyones out tom.

I know I haven't posted much, but I always read and read and read. I talk to Ben almost eveyday. He doesn't seem like someone who will rip you off( I could be wrong). The retailer in his area probally was the one to mark them up so much... Nobody had a second thought about paying the $90 cause they look nice. A. there better than the PIAA's B. Ben did the research... Give the guy some credit, so he went with the price of the guy from his area... Is that his fault no. If no one questioned it you must have thought it was worth it... I sell cars and I know a price of a car in NJ may be way better/worse than a car somewhere else. I trust this guy, just like I trust the rest of you to lead me in the right direction. As I know how hard it is to start something with someone and than call it off (i.e. Ben and his supplier). If he could have changed it, I'm sure he would of. DOn't cry over spilt milk, there nice lights and all of you where willing to pay the money... Move on! I could be worse he could have just kept all the money together and had it sent to a PO BOX. Clean up the milk and move on. Just my one cent

I live here in toledo with ben. Hes helped me with mods on my svt for free. We help each other most of the time with our cars. I know I'm a new ceg'er but I know Ben. If he could have got the lights cheaper I believe he would have. I don't know if this will make any differance in yall's
perception of Ben, but hes a good guy. I paid my money too.
