I have noticed a difference because it stopped some of the squeeking of some of the suspension components. Other people have experienced the same thing. There is even reports it stops the moonroof from squeeking. As for handling, this is a dramatic improvement. I haven't done any other handling/suspension mods to my car, but others that have, say this is the biggest improvement. I'm sure you'll see some of the people that purchased this chime in here in a little while.

For those interested in measurements...

With the bar installed in the proper position it sits approximately 13-13.5" from the trunk floor...to the bottom of the bar. Because the cruddy trunk floor piece bows down towards the middle there IS some 'give' in the usable space. My sub box is just over 13" tall and *just* fits underneath the bar in the center.

Chris, are we looking at individual shipping dates or a "mass ship" following the cutoff date?

It will be a mass ship. This should allow them to all be shipped and installed in time for the NATIONAL MEET!! smile

I would have to agree with Chris Hightower..
(only if i knew of this group buy earlier. But it's still worth every penny!!)

It stops the sqeaking from the rear of the car. ie: going up the driveway at an angle or going over pot holes, squeaking in the rear suspension has mostly stopped. The only thing i get get is the 'clunk' and 'squeak' from the swaybar. I got the bar mostly because of this. But handling from the rear has improved from this. The rear feels stiffer, the suspension is doing more of it's job.
I do have a sub woofer box in the rear. It's one of the Q-Logic hatch boxs for a '10 sub. (13 1/8 ht) The bar fits snuggly over the top. I did that to keep the sub from sliding around the turns. (another plus about the bar) I guess that might give the bar some support from flexing downwards. (i doubt it, the bar is pretty thick) I'll try to post a some pics, if people want.

I'd like to chime in on this. I ran one of the very first prototypes of this bar and noticed dramatic improvements in lateral handling. The rear felt like it wasn't even from my car anymore smile My only other suspension mod is Eibachs.

One thing we have out here in AZ is "shimmying" from the road surface. The heat causes the asphalt to bubble slightly which makes it feel like you have a tire out of round. Somehow, (and I'm not exactly sure how) the bar lessened the effect of this "shimmying".

So, not only will it improve handling, it may improve your ride quality under certain circumstances.
