ok here is the new post for the carbon hoods for pre 98 please post only if you are in. and give me a rough estimate on when you would buy. I need to know how many people within this year would buy it. Be honest. if you cant do it dont post.

right around $650 for carbonfiber and much less if you want it fiberglass

What are the weight for both? What's the disadvantage of the fibreglass version? Is it going to be significantly weaker than the carbon version? I'm almost certainly in as long as I don't have to come up with the cash until mid-summer. The only reason I'd not get it is if I have enough spare cash to try to fit the Mondeo parts.

estimated buying time for me would be approx. may-june....depending on the disadvantages of getting fiberglass, etc.

Other then the fiberglass one waying less, and probably being weaker then the carbon fiber will the hood be functional at all? Will it look the same as stock?

I'd be down for a carbon hood but not until mid spring at the earliest. If it has the stock hood latch and hinge assembly only though...no hood pins only.

depending on the design of the hood...i am interested...probably would take me a year to get the money though because of other upcoming projects.
