I finally recieved my shipment of carbon fiber today, however the carbon is unidirectional instead of woven carbon fiber and it has a black carbon overlayment on it.

The sales rep I had spoke with misunderstood what it would be used for and thought I was constucting panels out of this stuff and needed it for strength and not cosmetic purposes.

I called them back today and they were very good to work with as far as rectifying the issue as quickly as possible. What they are doing for me is shipping me new carbon on monday morning. He is making up the new sheets on saturday and they will be baked and packaged to ship on monday. I am paying to have them sent priority mail back to me.

Below is a pic of the pattern that they will be using for the carbon fiber weave.

To those that have prepaid I apologize for this and I am doing everything I can to get it taken care of asap.

Any questions drop me an e-mail.
craig@street-concepts.net

For those that have not paid yet and want in on the group purchase please e-mail me your info.

Full Name
Shipping Address
Method of payment preferred (paypal or money order)

As soon as I have the first sets completed I'll take pictures and e-mail each person on my group buy list to arrange payment and shipping.

Shortly after the sail panels are completed I'll start the run on carbon fiber door sills.

Whatever it takes to get the right stuff, Craig. I'd rather wait and get the right stuff then to get it tomorrow and have to send it back.

I know they'll be worth the wait, so its all good! smile

Same thing happened when I did the Ground COntrol Group Buy - 30+ people saying "I'm in", but when it came time to pay, only 15 people. A lot of people are all talk.

You have my money. Good work, Craig. smile

I think that sums up every Group Buy.

I don't post unless I am interested and have a serious intention of buying. This is only my 4th GB I have participated in.

Still haven't reaped the benefits of the 3rd one, 3 more weeks and then I will be. laugh

Craig, you already got my $$ too! smile
