Water Pump, GMB 125-1910 $53.46 . This WP has the metal impeller. Current US price is $53.46. I'm thinking of collecting up the names who would be interested in the KW and surrounding area. If they don't cut me a deal, at least we might save on shipping if it is all on one order. So, Who in the KW area is interested in this PUMP? Here's a pic: http://www.contour.org/cgi-ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=008828

Sounds like a great deal! Other than S&H (and GST), are there any brokerage charges? I am curious to know the "final" CDN price. Count me in....

I plan on getting a feel on the number of people who would be interested and then I'll talk to the dealer to wiggle out a price on that amount.
I'll talk to Autozone as well to see what kind of price I can get.
Once I get that, I'll call customs and revenue to figure out what kind of duties, etc. I can expect...
As far as time frame is concerned, I'm planning the actual order for January-ish (or sooner if there is a concenus).
To anyone who has already order this pump (i.e. the GMB) do you know if it is made in the USA?
Thanks.

they pay the duty since they're "trying to break into the Canadian market" Looks like autozone might be the place. The above info is from a Ceg'er in Ottawa. I'll contact Autozone and see what I can get... Looks like carparts.com doesn't ship overseas (to Canada, LOL) and doesn't handle foriegn language orders (They don't speak Canade-ish). Well, that was a good laugh.

FINAL PRICE IS IN FOR WATER PUMPS.
Autozone pays all Duties taxes and brokerage fees. We just 69.99 for the pump plus shipping. When CEG member , BlacknBlue, from Ottawa bought, he got the same deal. He paid 24.92 for shipping.
I will place an order and have them all shipped to me. If you are in the Kitchener, waterloo, London , Hamilton, Toronto area and would like to get in on this groupbuy personal message me with your email address.
The more we buy, the more we save!!!
Example: Dennis at AutoZone quoted: - 5 Pumps @ 69.99 each is 349.95 + 40.12 shipping (US funds) - 6 Pumps @ 69.99 each is 419.94 + 43.93 shipping (US funds) - and so on...
If you can pick up from the KW area (Or I can ship COD from my house) Get in on this!!!
Example cost of on pump if 6 are order would be: 69.99 + 7.32 (your portion of the shipping charges) = 77.32 US funds or 77.32 X 1.5964 (bank quoted rate) = 123.44 cdn.
Though I think I would get a better exchange with a credit card.
Twin City here in Kitchener quoted me a price of $96 for a Fenwick automotive pump with a plastic impeller.
Once I get a final number of interested people, I'll get the final shipping price and re-confirm.
So who is interested?...

Ok Joe - I'm in. It will be nice to know that if I do have a waterpump problem, I will not have to scramble around looking for the metal impeller version.

Just to let everyone know, I bought one of these pumps and installed it myself. It took me 6 hours from start to finish, but I also installed a new Thermostat, and flushed the cooling system. With an ATX it is much harder to do than with an MTX.
I have almost 10,000 miles on the new pump, with no leaks and the cooling circulation is BETTER than the original pump.
