FYI-
I have one of the original sets of these. (My car is demo'ing the panels on Craig's website). They are holding up fine, they look great and Craig has offered great service before during and after the sale.

If any one has any questions about them, email me at: johnh1977@yahoo.com

everyone that wants a set please e-mail antonio and he will create a list. In your e-mail specify payment method preferred (paypal, or money order)

Once he has 15 orders I will make a batch run. The initial batch will take 2 weeks to make as I have to order the necessary materials, manufacture them, and then take them to be clear coated.

After the initial batch I will keep 5 sets in stock so they can be shipped right away on future orders.

I will only invest in the materials needed to do this if I can fill an initial order of 15 sets but by the looks of things that will not be a problem.

As for a carbon hood the only way I can see it happening is if there are 15-20 buyers willing to make a deposit up front. Without the initial deposit no company will invest in the mold.

Hate to rain on the parade, but I was one of the first to have the real cf sail panels back in 99. After 6 months, you will be wanting to put the stockers back on. They fade like crazy and create a film build up that is impossible to remove. In short they look like crap. Thats why KKM (90 $)discontinued them. Mine are still here, and I can snap pics of how they turn out. Ive seen the sail panels for sale here, and they look identicle to the defective ones I purchased a while back. Unless some significant improvement of the KKM's have been made, dont buy.

The process consist of:
"The pieces require 4 coats of resin to be applied. The resin requires 24 hours of drying time between cotas and 72 hours before they can be clear coated."

If this is the case, wouldn't waxing the CF take care of it? I would think so since they are clearcoated.

I know what you are talking about. bought those way back when. SMP291 owns my old car. If you live anywhere there is humidity it makes them cloudy really bad for some reason. confused I found that if you use a good automotive paint polish (not wax, I tryed that and made them worse) you can keep them looking pretty good. I think the reason was that CF was designed for dash kits that would not see the elements.
