i'm interested in the plastic maf, as i think it would run cooler than metal, but know nothing of sizing, etc, as i'm new to modding efi. Seems i may need a 75? car is totally stock. thanks for any "education" offered. laugh

Jack-
What is the cutoff date on this buy? My 00SVT came stock with a plastic maf and I was told a long time ago that it was not interchangable. For whatever reason the computer would not be compatable with an upgrade. Mind you this was 12/99. There is a strong possibility of putting me on the list if it will work. Thanks.

Is there a difference between the Granatelli andf the Pro MAF? (besides price) I have a stock 00 SVT with a KKM and motorsport wires....do you guys think it will make that muh of a difference? Does changing the MAF generate CEL's, stalling etc??

Granatelli and Pro-M are the same thing...I doubt you will see much of a difference in performance at your level of mods.

Does anyone haw any dyno tests on doing this mod? If so please post because I am interested in purchasing on of these. Also is there anything else you have to do to the car besides bolting it on?

Search for a post by Dan Nixon. He dynoed the new MAF, and has a ton of info on the board. He also has a post in the "dyno" section about it.

He gained some good hp, but also had intake/exhaust done already.
