I tried to send an E-mail to one of the addresses listed on the OBD-2 site and I got an address not found message. Got a good E-mail address? I am pretty sure I can get 20 of the 5000 owners on F-150 Online interested in a group purchase, which of course any interested CEGers could get in on as well smile

I wonder how such a thing would go over on the OBD-II forum.  The trick there is that this forum, and the associated web site, which is a very rich source of OBD-II-related information, is hosted by a company which makes and sells a product similar to Alex Peper's, but at a much, much higher price.

(Well, OK, one mod.  Before I got rid of my previous car, a 1994 Tempo, I swapped radios.  I liked the Tempo's radio better.  That counts as a mod, doesn't it?  I also kept one of my Tempo's wheels to use as a spare.  I hate those stupid ?compact? spares that come with modern cars.  Does this count as a mod?  If so, I guess I have two mods.  Replaced burned/melted blower switch and connector on 19 February 2002 with a 1P3T toggle switch from Marvac and a Molex connector from Rat Shack; I guess this now makes three mods.)

I was all set to buy their product when I saw your message on the forum which prompted me to investigate further. I still need a good e-mail address for Mr. Peper

I've been successfully conversing with him at <support (at) obd-2.com>.

Yeah, Then I saw the message on here and I thought I would check out this other system. Why spend $490 when I can accomplish the same mission for under $200!

This buy is still open and we could use a few more people for the discount. This is some kick butt stuff here. You run it on a laptop (you have to provide that sorry) and you can monitor and track data, not just pull codes.

Almost seems kinda mandatory if you are serious about tuning... wink

Buy one of these and be a hero to the common car owner, comon, buy it!!!
