mad
Well I just got back from Fred Beans Ford in Doylestown.... Warning don't ever go to them.

1) They broke my front passengers headlamp while it was in for service and they wouldn't pay for it - wanted to charge me $250 for a replacement.

2) While replacing the Radiator Overflow Tank they crushed some wiring on the passenger side inner fender - stripping some wires and causing a short in the wiring and disabling the turn signals flashers and fan switch. To which when I picked up the car - they mentioned oh by the way "Did your turn signals work when you dropped the car off?"

3) After paying for a tune up and having them replace the MAF, and Oxygen Sensors (the past two under warranty) so that I could pass emmissions. Upon leaving the dealership I got the Check Engine Light to come on. I kept the car over the weekend and the Light was on from last Thurs til this Tues. After I dropped it off at Fred Beans they called me up and told me that the light wasn't on when they pulled it from the lot and over the next two days they couldn't get it to re-light.

I picked it up and within minutes it came on again... Drove back to Fred Beans and a tech came out with the diagnostic code reader - told me he reset the old code earlier (thus proving they lied about the code not coming on earlier) and brought up a code indicating the HEGOs were indicating the car was running lean. All the dealership would do for me was reset the computer again and told me to come back when it happend again.

Came on again this morning - and with the sorted past I've had with Fred Beans - and with how agravated I was getting I took it to another Ford Dealership.

Their tech took 5minutes of visual inspection, and computer diagnostics to figure out what the problem was. FRED BEANS Installed the wrong Oxygen Sensors in the car - causing one of them not to be functional at all. The new dealership swapped the O2 sensors to the correct ones and then did some further diagnostic work and determined that something was causing my secondaries not to open. Basically I had a short in my IMRC (F632-9J559-CB) and they were going to order me a new one which would come in in a few days. Thankfull all is still under my warranty which will be up in 4K miles.

Overall.... DON'T GO TO FRED BEANS FORD IN DOYLESTOWN.

What a load of carp. At least it won't cost you any $$$. I would think a call to the GM of Fred Beans is in order to let him know what bafoons work there and that the other dealership (who, since they are good?) took 5 minutes to get the job done right.

Yeah, C&C rocks. I like those guys.

Stay away from Rothrock Nissan/Dodge in Allentown as well!!! (I know, not related. But that's where I got my SVT.)

Good luck with the car Al! Don't be a stranger.
