For those that have nothing else planned, Philly region SCCA is holding their first summer event at Nazareth, PA on the 5th. It would be cool to see some other tours there and mystiques smile . I'll be there trying my new Kumho AutoX tires and hopefully my Mintex pads if I find the time for the install. Check out www.autox4u.com for schedule and more info.

Frank, see you there... uh oh.. you got some tires now.. I put mine on tonight I'm driving them there, thankfully Naz is only 20 miles or so away.. its a good heat cycle. :p
I ordered Rotors and Pads from BAT thursday, cause I found my Rotors are just about shot, so I wouldn't be supprized if I warp them tomorrow.. heh.

I know someone showed up but I never saw you. Who was it, in the distinctive checkered silver Contour? I know I've seen the car pictured on here.
I just realized Brian that must have been you, you have the wing. Too bad I missed you, next time come out and run. smile
Eric, excellent battle today, I think you should give the Koni's to me. laugh I looked over the Kumhos when I got home they were defnitely over inflated, I was chewing away the inside tread block on the front tires, that must be why my time improved on the last run I had the tires down to 39psi, warm.

Yes it was me. I never got a chance to say hi, it was getting HOT!! standing on the black top and the little one was getting cranky. It doesn't seem like there is a lot of time to hang out and chat. I was shocked at how well the red firebird did! I would never had thought something that BIG would handle an autoX he made it look easy. I also got to see an old friend with his BMW M Coupe, I did know he autoXed it. Who had the red contour svt? I saw it has we were leaving. Hope to make it to the next one at Nazereth (It's real close to home) maybe even run the SVT, but the Mustang would most likely do better(Koni/Eibach's/Urathan bushings!) drives like a go cart!! I was hoping to also see my friend Steve with his Miata but didn't find him. Maybe I'll catch you at the next one.

The Red Contour is driven by Dave Ford (no relation ot Eric) he's not a regular to the website. Good guy, he just got the BAT kit installed and has the 17" rims from BAT and also a quife, good ride he just needs to drive it like he stole it. smile
I've learned from Autox that new Mustangs and Firebirds/Trans-Ams are pretty quick in the turny stuff as well as a straight line. That red one was driven by a father son team they are very good drivers. It wasn't there yesterday but there is a guy driving a 2K mustang GT, he makes it look like the car was built for the Autox not the dragstrip.
I'll keep an eye out for ya at the next Nazareth event.
