me and my buddy were driving in his super-coupe when i spotted a black csvt and i pointed it out to him...when i noticed some pretty big tips coming out the back...this was right near route 1 near the oxford valley mall near philadelphia, and i was wondering how big the svt rear bumber lets you go as far as tips were concerned. it seemed like this one wasbarely squeezing through the slots.

I wonder if that may have been chknhwk. If Im right John chime in, cause he has the biggest tips I have ever seen on the SVT -- 4" and I know he was heading up North when we left to get some food. So it may have been rolling by b/c he would have been by his lonesome.

Route 1 was probably me. Biggest tips you ever saw? Definitely me. LOL I just put the Brullen loud on w/ 4" tips. That is the biggest you can go w/o cutting larger holes. Kind of a pain when trying to polish the top of the tips, though.

I got rid of my 5.0 for the contours as well. I'm on version 3.0 though. :rolleyes: First was a zetec, '99, second and third were both '98 black on midnight purple SVT's. I miss my GT sometimes, but I find all I really miss is the torque. I'm hoping a built 3.0 will alleviate that problem.

it was really sad to see my 5.0 go cause it was such a monster, but i kinda like the refined power i got now...6.9 seconds and 5.6 seconds is a big difference for low end power, but i think its worth it. anyway, if ur not goin, drop me an email if your around again, id like to meet up with some other owners, the only guy i know has a 96 se sport.
