I was told by the Service Manager in my dealership, that some of the Technicians there
found a junkyard in PA. that is called "YOU PULL IT".
They allow you to roam the yard with your tools, and you can pull anything you want,
you just pay for it on the way out.
One of the Techs, found a new transmission for his stang,
and it cost him $50 and a couple hours of work.

Have ANY of you guys heard about this place ???
I could use a good pair of leather seats from a wrecked SVT!

Did somone say "Junkyard" :p I would be up for a run up there. I have always seen it from the highway but never got to stop and roam.

Harry's U-Pull it is a GREAT junkyard & is PHENOMINALLY large ... but not much in the way of Contours & Mystiques up there . I've made the trek up there many , many times for parts for several of my cars . Including just a couple weeks ago looking for some Jetta trinkets . Like I said , don't look to Harry's for Contique parts ... not worth a long trip . There's just a couple (like , 2) and they're picked / smashed to death .

There's another U-Pull it in New Ringgold , but that one doesn't even have a single Contique IIRC . Plus , if it's not a Mazda or a Nissan , the inventory stays a bit stagnant . U-Pull it yards are great . You pay a buck or 2 to get in , but the savings are great .

I found a Junkyard heaven in Virginia about 2 months ago. Its about 10 min outside Sufolk. Its an all ford junkyard with about 20-30 contours and mystiques. Its sad to see them all in pain, but if you need parts its a great place to go to. (Far Drive!) :p

Damn.. in Texas where I used to live, I knew of 6 u-pull it Junkyards within 20 miles of each other.

I guess up here people are more greedy.

I think having a "meet" at a junkyard would be a disaster. Everyone would be pissed and angry at eachother by the end of the day, arguing about who got what part and how it wasn't fair that jason got the vortec because he already has a 3L and that I shouldn't have gotten the quiafe because I'm only 18 .....see what I mean now?

We can organize the meet, and put together a wish list for ALL of us, BEFORE we enter the yard.
This way we can concentrate on finding items on the list for the whole GROUP.

That way there won't be any fighting.

And when things come to a TIE, the one who is willing to pay the MOST, gets the item.
Just as if we had to buy it on eBay.
