I have a question, has anyone heard of a place called Speed of Sound? If so, could you tell me the address and If its an ok shop or what? thanks

definately don't go there....big rip off
their prices are way too high. I understand they are trying to make money, but i think the prices are too high.
I've been in there a few time(monroville store) cause the guys have a decent knowledge of stuff, but they will straight up tell you..."we mainly deal with imports so i don't know what to tell you"
trust me....go somewhere else.

Speed of Sound isn't my #1 choice for speed shops.
i have an import and i don't even go there.

maybe try 2xtreme on industrial blvd. in South Park. it's more of an import speed shop but the people there are a little nicer and then there's McB's in Bridgeville which i take my car to. Mark (the owner) is a really cool guy and knows his stuff. (he's a mechanic also)

They have a store in Butler. It mainly deals with audio. From what I understand the one in Monroeville is bigger. It is supposedly by the Hooters? And yes, I hear they mainly deal with imports. Still, I'd like to check in one of these days.

Just wanted to know because they are a dealer for the wheels Im looking at getting and I got a quote from them for a package and it wasnt to bad!The one in monroeville, how close is it to the mall? Ive only been out the way a few times so I really dont know my way around. I was thinking about stopping there on saturday morning before the meet you guys are getting together , but Im not sure If I have to work yet or not! Thanks again

its right behind hooters and the evergreen oriental buffet. if your coming from the mall direction its on your left after homedepot, and if your coming from the other direction its on your right after the compUSA.

myself and a friend of mine have both gotten prices from them on wheels and i'm sure you can beat whatever price they are giving you.
what wheel are you looking at and i'll see if i know of any place that has them for a good deal.

as much as i like contours, i don't think i could get rid of my hatch. try auto trader or cars.com . you can pick up a 92-95 civic for pretty cheap.
