I was checking out the Summit Racing catalog and I saw some Monza tips that look really sweet and I was wondering if anyone has them, and if they sound good

AZ-SVT has them. For cost effectiveness versus sound they work well.

Drewdogg- yea, I have them. 2.25 inlet/3" outlet. They look sweet out of the package. All chrome and shiny yellow inside. The yellow turns to black in about a month though. On mine I have the SVT exhaust (obviously) so I cut out my two rear mufflers and put those in place. Nice deep note. I have to make an assumption here that the monza tips lowered the exhaust note a bit. Ddnt hear it without them on so dont know for sure. Either way, they look good, they sound good. I drive around with my windows down to listen to my exhaust. yea me! Also, you can order them directly from the company. Just visit their website. I happened to order mine from Summit because I was getting other stuff too. Summit delivers fast and they are very helpful. Oh yea, you may be able to get them from PEPBoys too.

Cougars have single exhaust dont they? So how did you do it. Did you go with new mufflers and res, or did you take them out, or did you just keep stock in there? Sounds like the Monza is pretty sweet though

What did you do with the resonator...anything? Any drone inside the car?

Do you have any pics?

Dad always thought laughter was the best medicine, which I guess is why several of us died of tuberculosis.

He has the res still. AZ cut off the mufflers and added 4" of pipe and put on the res tips. It's pretty much a glass pack for the end of your muffler.

That exhaust system is rubbish. Dyno shows it to lose HP and torque.
