Well , despite the nice weather earlier in the day turning to crap on us as soon as we all got there , I think we did OK with 8 people and their Contours showing up .
For those of you that missed it here's the recap :
We all showed up , had a big B.S. session , ate some food , B.S.ed some more then left . It was a total success as far as I'm concerned !
In attendence was Nick G. (Nexusheli) , Nick K. (sprout2287) , Doug (95Zetecgl) , Patrick (Patrick) , Chris (Chris Arslanyan) , Matt (Migalush) , Robert (????) , and myself (TealTour95) .
I think the long distance award goes to Nexusheli since he lives in North Carolina . He was able to make it just by pure luck , since he was in the area on business this weekend . Hope we meet again ... SZ01 maybe ??? I guess the second award goes to Chris & Matt , they stopped off on their way back from Georgia where they were attending a SE CEG meet . They got in a double-header ! I think they just like to drive ...
Thanks to everyone that came . I just wish the weather would've held off for another hour , but then again it IS the middle of December , it could've been a lot worse ! I would have liked a bit more time to look at your 'Tours , maybe in spring when we have another meet .
Sorry the rest of you couldn't make it ... we'll try again soon enough !

~~~~Allen
Sorry I missed it today guys. I was on the bike and on the way out when it got dark about 1/3 of the way there and I just had a bad feeling - Especially since the wind was knocking me around EVERYWHERE.... So maybe next time or when the weather gets better.
I didn't want to see you get all wet on the bike ... that sucks , even in the WARM weather ! We'll have more meets . Not worth getting hurt trying to ride the bike in bad weather . We know you wanted to be there , that's all that matters .
You've gotta love the sheer acceleration power of the crotch rocket ...
Every time I sit on the Honda , it just begs for triple digits ! And most times I give in .
It's a battle I constantly love to lose. I've never experienced the pull like I do in 2nd and 3rd gear! It's mind-numbing...
... and I'm running lean! Ran 2nd up to 14k and just engine brake to slow down.... "BOOM!!" Heh... sounds like a shotgun going off.
I am sad to say that I could not attend the event on Sunday. Saturday afternoon I got a disturbing phone call from my sister stating that my mother was in the hospital..
Long story short, she has pollops?!?! which are developing in her stomach and are blocking passage..This caused her to develop infection which the liver helps to fight off and failed to.
Of course my first priority was to be with her so I have been too busy to even post..
Sorry I could not make it. Hope everyone had a great time. I wanted to do this thing.. even went out and purchased a new Ford lic plate cover and also borrowed a friends Mavica digital camera
Hope to see you guys next time..
Craig
