im shopping for new front rotors, are there any differences between them other than size? really, what im asking is, if i just buy the cheapest rotors i can find, am i gonna get a ****ty product, or a good deal? also, while im on the topic, i've seen ebc greenstuff pads for $80 - is that apiece or a pair? (please say a pair)

Yes, just like many things in life, with rotors you tend to get what you pay for.

Cheap rotors may need to be machined when new out of the box. They may also tend to wear more quickly. They may also tend to warp easily or even to develop hot spots.

To a large extent it depends on how you use the car. If you are a spirited driver cheap rotors will probably be unsatisfactory. If you are a very mild driver the cheap ones may be very satisfactory.

Avoid the cheap imported stuff and stick with brand names and you should be OK. If you are a real agressive driver then you may need to look for something even better.
