I have a 99 se, no abs. I was just wondering what you all recommend as a replacement for the stock brake pads. I don't want anything to expensive, just a small upgrade.

Try Mintex A/F from BAT. Not really all that expensive and they are a good replacement for the stock pads.

You want my factory pads (used) with only about 6K on them and much life.

They came from my 99 SE when I upgraded to the KVR Carbon Metallics.

They are just taking up space, I offer them gratis if you pick up. (I work in Creve Coeur)

I only have the fronts.

Thanks for the offer JavaContour, I was hoping to avoid getting stock pads though.

I am going to give EBC "Greenstuff" pads a try. Tire Rack sells them and I have heard they are pretty good. The most impressive thing I read about them was in a SCC article on a group of modified Acura RSX's. The car that just had these pads added had a huge difference in stopping distance over stock, and comparable to the other cars that had more radical brake work.
