I have a E0 SVT and was wondering what the rotor size front and back. Thinking Focus SVT brakes down the line some day.....

Nope. It's 280 mm vs. 300 mm. Small difference, but hey, what the hell?

Hey Phil,

Good to hear you're thinking of more mods. I personally would stick with the SVT setup with such a small difference. When guys on the CEG swap brake kits for Baer of Wilwood they're doing it for more than just the rotor diameter - they get more sophisticated calipers too.

I just swapped out my SVT front rotors and was pleased to discover that they are identical to the V6 Cougars. I paid $70 (tax in) for each of them. With the frequency in which these guys warp, it's good to know they can be replaced relatively cheaply.

Btw, I'll be in Ottawa all of next week (20th) to help my parents move. Mould love to get together. I'll post something in the Mtl/Ott forums.

Hi BlacknBlue,

Not thinking too many mods just yet. I am doing the water pump, and am *considering* the DMD. As for the brakes, if I had to change the rotors, and only buy a bracket or something to complete the Focus SVT switch, it's a no-brainer. Have to flush the fluid first though. Next big job, coming within the next week!

As for the 20th, out of town again. I should be on an innertube on Weslemakoon Lake near Bancroft smile

I would jump at the SVTF rears but I'd go aftermarket with the fronts, probably Willwood by Todd!
