So I ordered some Speed Bleeders the other day. Installed them and bled the brakes without a hitch. They definately are as easy as it says they are to install.

Everything was fine and dandy for a week or so. Brakes felt damn good. Well last night I was driving a bit "spirited" and ABS kicked in.

So now my brakes are a little mushy. I think this is the first time I've used the ABS since I bled the lines.
Is there air in the ABS system? Do i just need to re-bleed the brakes? Should I use the ABS right before I bleed the brakes?

When I went to a track event in February I'm pretty sure I boiled the fluid. I thought I've bled it all out but I guess I was wrong.

So any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jason

Bleeding brakes can be a pain in the butt sometimes. I like to use gravity to do most the bleeding for me. I take the master cylinder cover off and then open the bleed valve and observe. If you have air in the line, you'll see bubbles coming out of the bleed valve. When I'm satisfied that there is no air in the system I close the valves. Then I either get a vacuum bleeder or someone to pump the brake while I work the bleed valve to finish the job. You may want to bleed the master cylinder as well as the brake calipers. Bleed the master first if you're going to do both.
