I know Im not the only shmuck thats ever thought of this ingenious idea...I'm in a bind for $$ right now, saving up for school and all, but what better idea than to PAINT the brake calipers red or yellow, to LOOK like they're performance brakes? Eh? Only problem is, what paint out there will stand that heat? Can anybody help me out here?

Get Hi-temp engine paint if you're that much in a bind. The local PEP BOYS by me has "caliper paint" in stock, in several colors.

I used the high temp brake caliper paint from Pep Boys, and it had not burned off or faded. I just masked the caliper off rather than taking it off completely. Used a whole can of brake cleaner to get the junk off them so I could paint them.
