Well I need new rotors for the coug..Apparently
I'm down to .01 of Spec and I need new pads and don't feel like seating a set of pads to a rotor thats done...
Does anyone have these yet, if so how are they, do they rust like my factory ones do? hehe.

I put the the EBC rotors and Greenstuff pads on the front of my car. They really improved the braking performance. The pads have just over 4,000 miles on them and still look like new. I ordered them from Tire Rack.

I have ordered the EBC pads from Tire Rack and the DBA slotted rotors from Precision Brakes for the rear. EBC does not make rotors for the rear.

The idiot who owned the car before me did a brake job and turned the rotors below the minimum thickness spec and they warped. The rears have now warped probably for the same reason.

I just got the «brake deal» from BAT. It's the 185$ deal for a regular Contour. Comes with Mintex A/F pads all around, EBC rotors in front and econo rotors for the back.

It's only been on the car for a week now, but I'm pretty satisfied with the performance; they're not hi-perf parts, but the car brakes as is new.

The rotors *do* rust like crazy though.

Ditto. No complaints (about the parts that is). Well, except the brake dust from the Mintex pads is as bad as OEM. I threw in the SS lines as a treat for myself and it was well worth the extra $100.

And unless you spend the $$$ for cryo treating or cad plating (and why would anyone bother to do that with plain jane rotors?), any rotor is going to rust.

Check with 'Trapps' in a week or so,he's having EBC 'Turbo Groove' rotors & 'Greenstuff' pads from HMS.....
