I currently have stock 15" wheels and brakes, but i'd like to upgrade to 17" wheels and Baer 13" brakes. My question is: Since I have a set of snow tires for the 15's, would it be pointless to swap the stock brakes on, and store the Baers over the winter? Otherwise, I have to get 17" snows, which I dont really want to do.

Any insight would be appreciated.

I don't know why you could not swap them back in the winter, but it seems like a lot of unnecessary work. If it were me I would either get some 17" snow tires and wheels, or just do the SVT brake upgrade that will still work with 15" wheels.
