I just got ebc turbo groove rotors and was planning to install them on friday. While reading the leaflet that comes with them it says you must install new pads at the same time. Hadn't thought of that. Does anyone know any good quality pads I can get a local parts shop. Don't have time to order on-line. Thanks for any input.

Good pads locally? Not likely. I'd order one of the Mintex sets from www.batinc.net

None that I know of. I can tell you that the Raybestos pads that Pep Boys sells are crap.

Call around for "Performance Friction". Imho the best you can do "locally", IF you can locate them. I only found ONE parts store in my area that stocked them, and we have A LOT of stores around Cleveland area. Good luck. smile

I'll have to second that. That won't dust as much as stock but they aren't that great. Just order some online, you'll be much happier you did.

Autozone carries "Performance Friction Carbon Metallic" They are an aggressive pad and decent performers (A little better than Axxis Metal Masters)

However for less you could get the Mintex A/F's from BAT/SP/CTA or for a bit more the Mintex race (C-tech) pads.

I agree both Raybestos and Bendix pads are not that great.
