KVR cross drilled, silver cadmium plated with KVR carbon Fiber Pads. You can get them at SP Motorsports. Good combo in My opinion.

Stay away from kevlar, carbon fiber, ceramic pads of any kind!

They are not a good pad for normal street driving. They require a long heat up cycle and are down right dangerous in cold weather and wet weather.

If you have the money the new BAER kit sounds like a real winner.

Throw in the BREMBO cross-drilled and/or slotted rears and quality pads (Mintex, EBC) and you will have rock solid brakes!

Oh Yeah. DO NOT forget to bleed your brakes to get that old garbage fluid out. 2 years is a good rule of thumb.
Use Valvoline SynPower. Best Dot 4 on the market.

Thats funny, I have the KVR carbon fiber pads and have had no problems braking in cold or wet weather at all. I live in New England where it is pretty much cold and wet most of the time.

I have the KVR pads on my car with the cross drilled rotors. Dont usually have problem with them. Only time I have any problems is in the cold/wet when I have been driving a long time without using my brakes. I do a lot of highway driving. I have just adjusted my driving style a little bit and brake a little earlier and let the brakes catch themselves instead of stomping on them. Otherwise I love them especially compared to the stock ones. Dont let this minor problem stop you from buying them. There stopping ability is amazing.
