OK, here's the deal...I bought the Parking Brake TSB kit from Ford a few weeks ago...I opened the box and had the parts out in the garage to install them. I didn't get around to installing it right away, so I left things in the garage. Then my dad thinks it would be a good idea to clean the garage...NEEDLESS to say, the return springs from the cable kit happened to make there way into the garbage...now I only have the cables! I got the cables installed thinking that they'd probably work alone, but there still isn't enough force to release the brake!
Does anyone know how/where I can get ONLY the springs? I've called two ford places and they both said that I can only get them in the kit...NO WAY am i spending another 38 bucks...So does anyone have a good idea where or who could get me what would work? I'd appreciate it a ton! Winter is here and it's a little cold to sit in the car while it warms up!
