Yeah I of all people should post in the ight forum! Anyway wish me luck cuz I am gonna replace my own brake pads. Some book sez you can do the switch on some calipers without having to unbolt the calipers from the car. OR: can you just remove the slide pins??? Yeah I got Haynes and Chilton, but I'm at work!

Yup, no way to do it unless you figure out a way to get the rotor off without having to take off the caliper... Good luck. wink

You can drop the pads in on the rears without removing the caliper.

Yeah, that set first. They are not wearing evenly. the piston side are wearing out faster. I have to adjust the parking brake too. I actually bothered to LOOK in the Haynes and Chilton. The rear are easy!!!! Found out I have to "earlier" Mondeo type front calipers too.
