It is beginning to look like the 98 E0 may be the only one that had the large brakes. Lets keep this going for a while to see if we can pin it down closer.

For the person who asked, if you have the small calipers, you can convert to the large ones by purchasing both the large calipers and the necessary caliper brackets that go with the large calipers.

don't forget - the "official" date of the E1 going into production is 2/9/98, so I would assume that cars built on that date would have received the smaller pads (possibly a couple during that week could have been crossover pads)

Built 11/99 and I have the large.

I believe that Ford went back to the larger pads for the last few months of production if I'm not mistaken.


If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?
