I ordered a set of Speedbleeder for my 98.5 svt. i was told they are sb1010 up front and sb1010s for the rear..
i put them on in the rear.. No problem...

BUT when I tried to install them up front they didn't fit!! The Speedbleeder screw was way too big!!

The tread size in the rear is 10mm x 1,
on the front it is way smaller than the 10mm x1. I'm thinking like 8mm or 7mm.

I was wonder if someone knew what the front thread size is.

This will help alot when i try to exchange the front set.

thanks in advance

FWIW, I installed the sb1010's on my front rotors without any problems. I have a 98.5 SE. Would it be possible that you have E0 calipers? Otherwise you should have the same calipers as me.

Oh and the speedbleeders are great! Flushed the system by myself (key) in no time.

Yeah that what the people at Speed bleeders told me the sb1010. The forum searches said the same thing.. but the bleed screw is way smaller. unless i was bleeding with the wrong screw.

I was able to use the recommended sizes on my SE as others have posted. Try taking one of your bleaders down to autozone and have them size it for you so you know which size to order. (Guess you'll need a ride there. wink )
