i have a 95 gl and i have excessive brake dust on my front two wheels. I usually have to clean them at least once a week. I have replaced the pads had them checked and all that, and nothing seems to be wrong. I was wondering if any of you guys have had similar problems and what you think i could do about it
Thanks

Every contour has that problem. You need to buy a set of KVR pads or Mintex pads. they give little to no dust. you can find them at www.spmotorsports.com

I've been happy with my Mintex A/F pads so far. I can't speak for the Greenstuffs--I've never used them. The carbon fiber pads I did try lasted a *very* long time, but they didn't grab well initially in wet weather--kidn of scary.

I installed the Mintex A/F pads 7,000 miles ago and they work great! When I wash the car, the wheels stay clean for at least two weeks, and even then, there's not nearly as much dust as there normally would be with the stock pads during the same amount of time.

I have a early 98 SVT what are my best options if I want Pads that perform well and have now dust and no warmup needed.

Do they make the greenstuff for the early models.

Thanks

Call Joe at SP MotorSports he is great.

Suggested I get the KVR Carbon Fibers. I haven't installed them yet because my stock rotors are below spec and until I can buy new rotors I am gonna wear out the cheap pads I have. I don't want the thin rotors to warp with good pads on them.
