I was wondering if a variable rear brake proportioning valve would not be a valid upgrade when you stiffen up the suspension. If it is a fixed value, less brake dive would probably mean the rear brakes are sleeping in emergency stops...

Of course, the ford part might already be a variable unit, which utilizes brake dive to allow more or less pressure to the rear brakes(like on VWs). Anybody know?

You need to get the more juice you can while it's available. Emergency stops or pee-pee stops are useful when you need to go fast.
