I've noticed that a few people have complained about the Speed Bleeders being to long. If you're one of those people, which size did you try installing? And was it a problem just on the rear disks? The reason I ask is that I just orderd mine and they said the right size for the rear was the SB1010S which is shorter than the SB1010. That's what I figured. But at the time they insisted that SB1010 was the right size. This problem is for all calipers, front and rear. So they stick out in the front too?

Louis - Approx. how many threads stick out when tightend all the way down? I just ordered a set and they also mentioned the need for a shorter rear unit.

I'm confused...Wouldn't the smaller 1010S be better in the front also? It seems the 1010 are sticking out. Or are the 1010s too short for the front?

I just finished installing a set on my front and rear calipers. The stock front and rear bleeder valves are different lengths. The SB1010S is the same size as the rear valve and the SB1010 is the same size as the front valve. There is maybe an 1/8" of thread sticking out when they are tightened down.
