I'd like t upgrade to SVT brakes in the front, but I'm worried my 12 spoke 15 inch wheels won't clear. They are the wheels that came with the touring package in 98.

TIA

All factory Contour 15" wheels will clear the SVT brakes. I have both on my car right now.

I second that - at least with the standard SE/Cougar/E1 calipers, the 15" wheels aren't a problem, although it's a SNUG fit less than 1/2" clearance between the caliper top and the wheel.

I am so glad I got the 278mm rotors/brackets/greenstuff pads though. I see so many cars get up on my ass and when I barely tap the brakes, their noses are diving, and sometimes I hear the tires screech!!! ehehe

Hey Ikarus1, where'd you get your setup? I really need to upgrade my brakes and I was also thinking about just slapping on the SVT package. I haven't priced it, though. Whose got good aftermarket brake packages, front and rear?
