Hey guys, I'm auctioning my Carbotech Panther track pads off that I had custom made for the SVT. As you probably have found out, there is little out there in brake pads that is pre-made off the shelf to fit the SVT in a high perf brake pad. So I sent my old pads to Carbotech in FL to have them resurfaced. Here's the Ebay url if you're interested.

Alright, I need to get some cash out of these things. Isn't anyone interested in these pads? I'll end the ebay auction early and sell the set for $120 to whomever is interested.

Porterfield (http://www.porterfield-brakes.com/) sells their R4S (Street/Track) and R4 (Track) for the Controur, Cougar, and SVT. I run the R4S ($99.00 for the front set - I forgot the price for the rears) on my SVT and am very happy with their autox/track performance. They are a little dusty and are squeaky when cold.

FYI... If you call Porterfield make sure they understand the exact year and model. They goofed my first order and sent me front brake pads for an earlier SVT (mine is a 2000).

Yeah, but that's still $200 for the set plus shipping. My pads have one track day on them, and I'm willing to let them go for $120. Porterfield is definitely a respected name, but so is Carbotech (who made my pads).

Sorry Adam. I wasn't trying to convince people not to purchase what you have for sale. Carbotech makes a great set of pads.

So how much did it cost to have the pads made?
