I know there is vast number of sensors out there, but so far I'm chasing my tail.
Looking for electronic design, sensor produces a voltage according to coolant flow.
Seen several that you'd mount, drill and tap into the waterpump output side of the casting. Most are for manufacturing machinery. AC operation.
Probalbly be cheaper to just replace the plastic impeller, but still be nice to have the flow monitor.

And another idea the electric coolant pump variable flow according to systems needs. http://www.emp-corp.com/html/news/world_pumps.shtml only doing diesel.
