Has anyone had a ford dealer/mechanic install their white gauges? I know there is a how-to on the bnmotorsports webpage but I would be a little hesitant to do them myself. Is that something that would be okay to take to a professional to install or would they scoff at me? Thanks.

For the most part, dealers will do the scoffing. Take it to a car audio and electronics store and make sure to have my instructions printed out for them to follow. You should have better luck there. Or, just come to the Iowa meet on the 14th and I'll do them laugh

How much do you think would be a good price to have them installed by a car audio store.

I've heard as cheap as $30 and as much as $100. I'd pay no more than $50 myself (about an hours labor charge)at a really good shop.

I tried installing the SVT factory gauges in my '95, at which point I found out about the electronic speedometer VS. the mechanical one. Ford charged $60 for removing and reinstalling the old gauges.
