Hey moderators, just trying to give a heads up to my fellow Contour tuners here in Florida. If anyone's interested, just PM me.

Not yet, Msds headers are on the way....should have them the second week of Aug.(Marty stated end of July, but I always figure on the negative side). wink To everyone, the y-pipe is in good shape(about 8,000 miles), aluminized, off road(no cat). So if you want some more power, here's a cheap(er) solution.

I guess you paid around $600 for the headers? That is what I originally was going to do but I decided to take the cheaper way out and gut the pre-cats and buy the Sho y-pipe. Dang it...why didn't you do this about 4 months ago!!! I could have save $175 wink

Definitely keep us all informed on how the Headers feel and sound. From all the research I found, gutting the pre-cats and Sho y-pipe seemed to equal the MSDS. I'm not so sure, theoretically the MSDS should be way more efficient at moving the exhaust.

Oh yeah guys..if you are interested in his Y-pipe.....please PM him and don't post. Thanks! :p

I considered the precat gutting, but after talking to Greg(DemonSVT), I decided to buy the headers. Apparently the factory manifolds are poorly designed, and in Demon's words could never match the flow of the headers. So, I guess we'll see. wink
