Starting to get serious about doing some performance mods to my 2000 svt. Big question is where do i start. I am not looking for any huge horsepower gains I think i am just looking for a plan that gives me a liitle here a little their. I am pretty sure i'd like to start with some exhaust work and I have heard taking off the resonator is first. But after that is the rest of the exhaust from there back good enough to keep. Should I replace the mufflers or can the whole thing
Black/Tan 00 SVT Do Tinted windows count as modified? K&N resonatorless (is that a word) Kuhmo 225/45/ZR16 Left in SVT dust list: Porsche 924S, Beretta GTZ, 98 Civic, Volkswagen Jetta VR6

Here is your best options Phase 1 MAF Adapter and a big K&N OR KKM intake BAT Intake Pipe Good Cat Back (Borla, Brullen, or Bassanni) Opitmized Throttle Body
Phase 2 Larger Y-pipe or Header/Y-pipe combo Larger MAF Apexi SAFC Larger Throttle Body
Phase 3 Larger injectors 3.0 Liter Turbo/Supercharger NOS
The combo of a big K&n, Sho Shop Off road Y-Pipe, Borla, and Apexi got me some nice gains, but I don't have any proven numbers.

Whenever you take that exhaust off, drop me a pm and I'll take it off your hands for you. I'd like to upgrade my exhaust to what you guys got stock. Please. I'm in Tampa so I can go about anyway in the state in a day and get back, so that applies to any of you you out there thinking about this. Please.
