Does anyone have a how-to on how to remove the Upper Intake Manifold? I think it's about time to clean mine... Any suggestions on what else I should clean while the manifold's off?

I've done this twice on my car......very easy.......and I have an inch torque wrench...

Yep....the Shark is there everyday.....can't miss her can ya....even if you are driving by at 80+++MPH Whenever you want to hang....I'm there...Friday night is a possibility.......what main crossroads do you live near?

I heard that no one meets at the Tower shops anymore. Do you know of any other places to meet? I got my car back, so it all good! Oh yeah.. I connected my dual exhaust myself (Easier than I thought) and when I first start my car, and I rev it up, the tach goes down all the way to like 250 RPMs. It also makes a blunt noise from under the hood when the RPMs go down. Anyone know what that could be about?

How does your car even idle at 250.....Mine idles low...around 550-600...it should be around 750....hmmmm I guess we'll have to fix it at the next MEET!!! Come on guys.....I need a meet!!!!!

It never made the blunt noise until after I put in the exhaust and it just shoots down to 250 RPMS for a sec.. It then jumps back to 750.. What is even weirder is when it does that, and I have my foot on the cluth, it just totally stalls out.. Do you know what that could be from? I think the noise is coming from the engine(?) and it only last for no more than 3 seconds when the engine is "de-revving".

Sounds to me like you have a leak somewhere. Also, you might want to reset your PCM for a while and then let it re-learn the new mod. That could very well be the possibility..
