At this rate, nobody. There is no way in hell I am trading it in.....They are offering me $hit like 8 grand for it. The damn thing KBB's at almost 10 for trade in! FUK that! Unless I can sell it out right, she is mine for the duration...

Same problem I'm having.

Selling it your self is the only way to get 10K or more.

attaboy!! laugh

yeah - i would definately look at selling it outright. The economy is showing some small signs of recovery (and I use that term carefully) so maybe people will want to spend their money a little more.

Good luck man! smile

It's fallout from all the zero percent financing the major dealers ran after 9-11.

The car market was flooded with traded in cars because everyone was buying new.

Have you noticed they still are running zero and rebate comercials to try and keep the business up.

I think you have to find a niche market for the car to be sold at a fair price.

I recently met someone who drove from Jax to Atlanta to find a the SVT he wanted. Why couldn't I have met him 4 months ago.

i drove from miami, florida to norman, oklahoma for my csvt. the whole trip took almost exactly 50 hours. as far as the cd/radio...seeing as we have 3 csvt's in my family, and all with aftermarket radio's i think we have more then one laying around. i know i don't have mine but i think my brother will let his go for a small fee...if you're still interested? my i ask why you want to sell your csvt?

Well, the main reason I want to get rid of it is the lack of aftermarket accesories worth a shit under the 5000 price tag (*cough* turbo *cough*). I am in the market for a 1st gen DSM AWD drive. For about the cost of a turbo kit for the tour, you have a car that will suck the paint off the tour, as well as give you decent handling and a great aftermarket (and the car is 10 yrs old!). I like the way my Contour looks, runs and a feels, but I want speed as well. Ain't no way I am shelling out money on this fugger unless I own it outrigght (and at this rate, I will by the end of the year)...
