After many bad experiences with the wonderful service geniuses at World Ford of Kendall on US-1 & SW 154th, I decided to handle the latest recall regarding the dashboard by taking the SVT to Gables Ford.
Now, there's a good part & bad part to this... Bad part: traffic getting there & getting back sucks. It's located on Le Jeune & 43rd Street, so morning traffic blowed real bad, and I'm sure afternoon rush hour will suck too. Good part: There's a service rep named Rhonda Jones there who absolutely rocks. Compared to the rest of the reps there, she's absolutely incredible. When you get there, head all the way to the last service booth... it's the ONLY one with a bunch of commendations & letter of reccomendations hanging from her cubicle, that alone should say something.
Now, I'm not going to go as far as saying that I expect my car to be perfect when I get it back... let's be real here... but as for not having to deal with a complete idiot behind a desk, this has got to be the way to go. Not only did she KNOW about the dashboard problem & it's solution BEFORE I got to her, but she LISTENED to my other gripes about the A/C & such and is making sure I get the car by Friday morning. (Yes, she likes racing too & she likes Moroso).
So, for those in the Miami area who are still under warrantee/extended warrantee, or are just sadists & prefer to deal with Ford Service instead of any other shop, GO TO THIS WOMAN. She'll make the trip worth while.
