I just ordered a Quaife and no one here in Tallahassee is very excited in puttiong one of these in... I was curious what other florida members have done to get them installed, if there are any at all.

I haven't checked with the only Ford dealer here in town yet but do you think they would do it ? I know labor would be out of sight but my choices are disappearing

Thanks,
Louis

Well, you could always contact Bat to see if they would install it. My mother works at Ford down here in Lauderdale, and she claims they are unable to install aftermarket parts. Kinda sucks, because I was thinking that when I'm ready to get my clutch, flywheel, quaife it would have been nice to know who put it in. Hey FSU SVT, are you going to get the MSDS? If so I would gladly take that Sho shop y-pipe off your hands. Lemme know.

Thanks, but I tried BAT, I have actually gone there quite a few times, since it is only about 1/2 hour from my dads place but unfortunatly they do not install anything at there place, just a whole lot of parts in shop that they have.

Really sucks that ford doesn't do it since they would know their way around a MTX-75 transmission more than anyone else... Any other suggestions people ??? I can't wait to exit a corner with this

Also, I have not made my mind up yet on the headers I am still looking into them a bit more, but when i do make my mind up i'll be more than willing to let my y-pipe go for how much I am not sure... but when I do make up my mind i'll e-mail you or post something up here to let people know it is for sale.

Thanks,
Louis

Well, I would try some serious performance shops, and see if they would help you out. There is a shop in Jacksonville called Atlantic Performance that is very enthusiastic about the SVT, I once spoke with the owner who drives a charged Type R, he was really cool. He tried to entice me into putting a nitrous kit on the car, and had some other ideas about parts. He claimed that they are very willing to fabricate items, and do specialty work, but who know's? I know that Jax is quite a ride, but if they are willing then I say go for it. I don't have there business card anymore, but check Yahoo, cause I know they have a website. Keep me updated on the y-pipe, I'm sure some extra money would hurt towards the headers. Later
