The alternator plus labor just threw me back 360 bucks plus my MAF has gone bad. My parents and I both agree this SVT needs to be sold to some other poor soul...I can't do it anymore. I'm flat broke again and this car requires too much maintenance for me to keep up with, I just need to get rid of it before something big happens so It's going online and in the paper! Sorry guys you've been great and I love the CEG but unfortunately my car doesn't love me! I wish could have had the great experience with mine as you guys do with yours but I'm cursed with the sour citrus fruit! I'll be looking into buying a Honda Civic(BIG SIGH) or Integra GsR if I can find one cheap enough and yes it will be staying completely stock, I won't be adding to the rice pool unless theres enough money for a turbo.
On a seperate note, since my Pioneer has completely fizzled out on me(go figure :rolleyes: ) I need a radio to put in this thing before it goes. Does anyone still have their stock Ford unit they wouldn't mind lettin go of?

I think you should get a  contour SVT and have fun with another one Also would you trade your non-working Pioneer for a working stock unit ? I know my CD-player works(when I pulled it) but I am not sure about the amp does yours still have the "Premium Sound" amp installed behind the glovebox ?
2000 Silver SE Sport V6 MTX, B&M shifter, SVT exhaust, 75K on the clock.

Pick up one of the low-priced '95-'97 V6 Contours that seem to pop up here and there. They usually run an average cost of about $5000, and you already know what you can do to tweak them out and get them performing nicely. Mileage might end up being high but you should be able to afford the maintenance and upgrades since you don't have the car payment. Just a thought.

A troll post here or there wouldn't hurt I guess! I'm pretty set on the Gs-R though. I found a beautiful dark blue one at Rosenthall with 8k miles going for 15.5k! 2 year WARRANTY(drool)
