OP Andy W. Moderator A Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 3,223 College Park, MD	Hey Guys, Sunday afternoon I made it down to FedEx Field to watch the SCCA Solo II Auto Cross. I liked the course layout. I saw a red SVT in the spectator parking lot when I arrived. Anyone?? It was pretty bad ass! It was sponsored by Mini of Sterling I believe. There was a new mini running the course. Wanted to ask you about the fit of the tires you are running, 225's? Any problems, my tires are getting really worn and I need some new ones and there is more selection in 225 series than the stock 215 size. You are right about the course, looked like a ball, I could not register in time but will try for the June event. John

I can't auto-X yet because I can't afford tires but I'd love maybe ride along. Anyway, the Firehawk SZ 50's are considered a narrow 225. At stock height not one bit of rubbing ever and the new EP's have a much better tread wear than mine 320 as opposed to 220. I love them and will never buy anything else. Except for a good allseason or snow for winter driving! I'm spoiled rotten. They do run more than the stock BFG's. I will give you a heads up when I go out to race. I will probably run on street tires, it's either racing tires or work on my 85 Mustang GT. So you see the choice I have.
