OK ... so the time has come to sell the SVT. It's too costly to keep around. Check out those classifieds for the list and such.

We are spending over 800 a month on the SVT and only about 400 on her Civic. The wedding has set us back a ton and it's just not practical to have it anymore. We are also hoping to add to the family sooner than later (trying a lot at least). I know it sucks and such and I really love the car just can't afford my toy anymore.

What about refinancing it! Now is the perfect time. Especially at a credit union.

How the heck does it cost $800/month for the SVT? I had a 3 year loan with little down, and my payments were only $450/month. I got in at 0.9% financing, which helped, but it shouldn't make a world of difference. I'm assuming you're including insurance, but how much could that be?
No offense, but you're not going to get $15,500 for your car. The SVT market just sucks. A mint 2000 SVT with 18K miles and a 100K mile warranty just sold for $15K even, and that was a bit higher than the norm. Your best bet would probably be to sell off your mods seperately, and then sell the car.
Good luck, whatever you decide to do.

I tried refinacing it and can't get the loan to do it. I was pretty much just stupid when I got it. I needed a car and instead of dropping the money for the down payment on a beater, I used it to get the SVT. The intrest rate is so very high that I will not bother posting. That is why I need to sell. I have though about parting it out of course but no longer have any of the stock items.
