For those of you who don't want to wait to see Jason's picture:

BTW, what's the deal on the times? 15.2s with a 3L? Were track conditions bad or something?

85F 100% humidity! It was a bad day for the track! Jason couldn't launch at anything above 2800RPM's because he would break his tires loose. We need to get him on some drag radials and he needs to get it dyno tuned!

I can't thank Tony enough for the great event he put on. I can't wait for the team event next year! I believe all our boys had fun! Lets here it for Tony guys!

Yes it was a great event and Im now hooked on racing on the strip, street racing is out, not that I ever did that much. It takes more skill on launching from the tree which everyone seemed to think I did well at. As for next year, you can automatically check me off for being there, I dont care what I have to move in my schedule, I WILL BE THERE. smile

and if not for them fearing the contours, I soo should have been allowed in the r/t contests, lol, oh well, but like I said, overall I had a great time. Thanks to all that made it happen.

look in the pics and vids for more I took........

....and yes Sujeet, the air was bad Saturday. Everyone was running a few tenths off there normal time. I ran a 15.243 @ 93.07 and that was the best of all the 'Tours there. If it would have been lees humid, you would have seen better times. Cecil is usually a "fast" track.

Coming soon, a 3L with an open filter, a dyno tune, and a sub-15 pass. smile Actually, I was pretty happy, all things considered, with how I ran. Finally got some sub-2.3 60' times, so now it is time to squeeze the last bit of juice out of my car as the driver is no longer the weak point. It seemed that launching at 2250 was optimal for the day.

Here is my pass that put me in the finals. I am in the right lane. smile

Jason - We'll take care of that filter in the parking lot of the Clarion wink

Moe - You ever try taking pics of Top Fuel and Nitro-Funny cars standing about 30 feet behind the 1/8 mile marker? Now that's a challenge smile

so technically your saying without those weather conditions I may have been able to hit low 15's also, say 15.2 or so???
